How Long Do I Run My Pool Pump?

With the hotter summer months getting closer and closer, many have a question as to how long to run their filter pump every day.  I recommend setting your pool time clock to run at least 8 hours a day once temperatures reach 90 degrees through the end of September.  The time to run the filter pump is typically 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or maybe 9 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.  That way, the pool is circulating through the hottest hours of the day and will have uniform chlorine levels throughout the pool, because wh...
